11/10/23 - The WHITE CHRISTMAS Collection is currently on display at The Durham Museum in Omaha, NE. Visits to see the other collections is by appointment only by calling 502-383-9911.

11/12/22 - The WHITE CHRISTMAS Collection will be on display at the Behringer-Crawford Museum through January 8, 2023. 

11/12/22 - The Rosemary Clooney House will be temporarily closed and will resume regular hours on April 1, 2023

10/28/20 - UPDATE: Due to the increase in COVID cases in our regional area, The Rosemary Clooney House will be limiting visitors to scheduled appointments only. This will ensure safety for our guests and our tour guides. All previously scheduled appointments are still valid. Please call 502-383-9911 to schedule an appointment between now and November 7, 2020.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The White Christmas Collection will be traveling to Greenville, SC to the Upcountry History Museum - Furman University. The exhibit runs through November 14 - February 7, 2021. During that time, The Rosemary Clooney House will host a 100th Anniversary Miss America Exhibit that will be open by appointment during the Holidays. We anticipate the opening of that exhibit to be December 5, 2020. Further updates will follow in the next few days as everything progresses.

11/22/19 - The Rosemary Clooney House will showcase A CELEBRATION OF MISS AMERICA exhibit from November 29, 2019 to January 18, 2020. The exhibit features evening wear, talent costumes and other memorabilia from various Miss America's throughout history. Click here for the official press release announcing the exhibit. While this exhibit is running at The Rosemary Clooney House, the WHITE CHRISTMAS collection will be on display at The Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky.

10/30/19 - Four custom handmade ornaments inspired by the costumes of Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS have been created by Heather French Henry to benefit the museum. Ornaments, approximately 6" tall, are adorned with Swarovski crystal and sequin accents and come up with a signature card to show authenticity. 10/31/16 - Starting November 1, 2016 the White Christmas Collection will be on display at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, KY. The exhibit runs November 17, 2016 through January 2017. The Rosemary Clooney House will be open for scheduled appointments showcasing a "Tribute to Vera Ellen" as well as "The George Clooney Collection" which features items from THE AMERICAN and IDES OF MARCH. 6/30/15 - The Rosemary Clooney House is OPEN Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To arrange tours on "off" hours, please call The Parkview at 606-756-2603 and ask to speak to Jenny.

4/8/15 - The Rosemary Clooney House is currently undergoing rennovations. During this time the museum will operate on modified hours. Beginning May 1, the museum will be open ONLY on THURSDAYS from 11 am - 4 pm. If you'd like to try and arrange a private tour, please call The Parkview at 606-756-2603.

11/15/14 - The WHITE CHRSITMAS room is undergoing renovations which are expected to be completed by April 1, 2015. From November 15, 2014 through January 11, 2015 The WHITE CHRISTMAS Collection is on loan to the Frazier Museum in Louisville, KY.

11/14/14 - A new VERA ELLEN exhibit has been added to the collection and features two gowns from her movies. The first is from LET'S BE HAPPY where she played Jeannie MacLean and the second is a gown worn by her character Jessie Brown Kalmar in THREE LITTLE WORDS.

6/3/14 - At 1 pm on Saturday, June 7 a dedication of several costumes will take place at The Rosemary Clooney House. Several members of Rosemary's immediate and extended family are expected to attend.

9/4/13 - Sad to report that Rosemary's beloved Dante has passed away. He was 87. Visit dantedipaolo.com to learn about his life and career.

9/22/12 - Beginning Monday, September 24 - The Rosemary Clooney House will be operating on it's Fall Schedule.

        Thursday and Friday 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
        Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
        Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
        Monday - Wednesday by appointment only

9/18/12 - The Rosemary Clooney House just created a new Cafe Press page, so now you can get all kinds of goodies to help support the museum.  Merchandise includes stationery, t-shirts, mugs, pillows, cards, blankets, clocks, ornaments, charms, hats, keychains, tote bags and much more. 12/17/11 - George Chakiris and Lee Meriwether are joined by the Clooney family to dedicate the newest addition to the "White Christmas" collection. The chorus girl's costume from the Mandy sequence is reunited with Vera Ellen's Mandy costume.

George and Lee spent part of the afternoon signing autographs and visiting Augusta's Old General Store for some coffee before heading off to ride in Augusta's Annual "White Christmas" parade.

 

12/8/11 - George Chakiris is coming!! On Saturday, December 17th at 3 p.m. George Chakiris will be at The Rosemary Clooney House to dedicate the newest addition to the "White Christmas" collection. He'll be available to sign autographs. For more information click HERE.

6/4/11 - The Rosemary Clooney House will offically dedicate Rosemary Corvette as a permanent part of the museum's collection.

George while visiting in Augusta on February 26, 20112/26/11 - George toured The Rosemary Clooney House this afternoon with his parents Nick and Nina. He also spent time at the General Store, his mother's shop, Nina's, and had dinner at Caproni's.

12/10/10 - Two costumes from The Rosemary Clooney House's "White Christmas" collection have been loaned to The Bing Crosby Theater for their "Bing Crosby Holiday Film Festival" on December 11th. Bing's military uniform and Rosemary's red robe will be on display in the theater's lobby for the day's festivities.

12/10/10 - Rosemary's husband Dante DiPaolo will be serving as Grand Marshall of this year's "White Christmas Parade."

12/10/10 - In recognition of Dante's serving as Grand Marshall in the 2010 Augusta White Christmas parade and riding in Rosemary's convertible, The Rosemary Clooney House uploaded the following video of Rosemary talking about reconnecting with Dante and features her singing "Count Your Blessings."

 

10/16/10 - The Rosemary Clooney House recommends you catch Michael Feinstiein in one of his upcoming performances. Check out this recap from his recent Cleveland, OH concert. Michael autographed a photo of he and Rosemary that will be displayed in the museum next to a painting that Michael donated to the House. The painting used to hang in Rosemary's bedroom in Beverly Hills and she willed it to Michael when she passed away.

9/18/10 - Members of Rosemary's family joined in the dedication of George Clooney's costume from "The American"

9/14/10 - As part of the World Equestrian Games taking place at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY from September 25 - October 10, The Kentucky Experience pavilions will showcase all that is special and unique about Kentucky, including an exhibit from The Rosemary Clooney House. Rosemary's "Sisters" dress, George's costume from "The American" and a gown worn by Miss American Heather French Henry will be on display in the "North Central Region" exhibit.

9/13/10 - "The American" costume dedication will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 18th. Two costumes will be dedicated at the ceremony, one worn by George Clooney, and one by his co-star.

8/25/10 - Help The Rosemary Clooney House add Rosemary and Dante's historic Thunderbird to the house's collection by making a contribution today. Click here for more information.

6/5/10 - "Up in the Air" Costume Dedication - The Rosemary Clooney House dedicated several costumes from George Clooney's movie "Up in the Air." The dedication ceremony took place during Augusta's Arts in the Garden.

12/09 - Augusta held it's 2nd Annual "White Christmas" parade.

 

6/09 - Vera Ellen's "Mandy" costume from "White Christmas" was dedicated at the museum.

 

12/19/08 - Paramount Studios was at The Rosemary Clooney House to shoot video of the "White Christmas" collection for an upcoming re-release of the DVD. They also participated in the first ever "White Christmas" parade in Augusta.

 

6/3/08 On Saturday, June 7th at 10 AM, The Rosemary Clooney House dedicated Rosemary's nephew George Clooney's football uniform that he wore in his recent file "Leatherheads." Members of the Clooney family, including Nick and Nina Clooney, were present for the special dedication.

 

Fall 2007 - The Rosemary Clooney House has added to its collection a dress Rosemary wore in the film "Red Garters" as well as a dress she wore at an event with President Kennedy.

 

5/31/07 The Rosemary Clooney House held a special service at 11 a .m. on Saturday June 2. The blue dress that Rosemary wore in "White Christmas" when she and Vera Ellen sang "Sisters" was unveiled.

 

5/31/06 The Rosemary Clooney House held a special dedication service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the house's soft opening. A costume worn by Rosemary when she co-starred with Bob Hope in Here Come the Girls was unveiled.

 

1/7/06 - Numerous photos of the RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY & PRESS REPORTS from the Grand Opening have been added to the site. The photos also offer a glimpse of the hundreds of items that make up the house's collection.

6/4/05 - House held it's "soft opening" and had over 1,000 visitors through the first weekend. Nick indicated "The opening of the museum honoring my sister Rosemary was a resounding success."
